Donation campaign - A car for our work in the port.

As posted two weeks ago our service car was involved in an accident. Now the verdict is in: The car is no longer salvageable. That's why we now have to buy a new one and that's why this fundraiser.

Like most clubs and organizations, we do not get through these Corona times without scratches: Our Seemannheim was closed for many weeks, the costs continued. Now our coffers are pretty empty. That is why we need help - financial help - your donation! So that we can help seamen in port again! Especially now, when many are not allowed to go ashore need the Seamen's Mission more than ever.

We go to the ships every day, talk to the seafarers and have SIM cards with us for those who need them. We don't just talk to the seafarers, we are their point of contact and point of contact on shore. The best part of visiting the ships is the joy we see in their eyes. Now in Corona times it is even more important to show that they are not forgotten.

skoda fabiaAt the moment we go to the port by streetcar and bus. So we can only reach a fraction of the ships
Normally, we serve the ships from eight different terminals. With bus and streetcar we can only reach two.
Even a small donation would help us enormously and help our shipboard support get back on its feet. Back to 100% of ship visits.

The big donation goal is €10,000 for the white Skoda Fabia you see in the pictures.
